Is the merge tool really free?
Yes. It needs no account and gives you a number of free merges every day. If you need more, contact Tenasol.
Are my files stored?
No. Your files go straight from your browser to storage and are deleted the moment they're merged. The result is held only until you download it and is deleted the moment you do. If you never download it, it's deleted automatically after a short time.
What happens to information that appears in more than one file?
It's merged into one entry rather than repeated. The result reflects what every file agreed on, plus whatever each added.
Can I mix C-CDA and FHIR files in one merge?
No. Choose files of one kind: all C-CDA documents (.xml), or all FHIR bundles (.json). Merge each kind separately.
Does the order I add files in matter?
Yes. Files are merged in the order shown in the list, so reorder them with the up and down arrows before merging if it matters for your documents.
Can I look at the merged FHIR bundle before downloading it?
Yes. A merged FHIR bundle is shown as a tree right on the page, and can be opened in the free Tenasol FHIR Viewer, which also shows it as tables, a relationship graph or a readable clinical summary, and can validate it.
